Some documents and vehicle plates got wet after the Land Transportation Office – National Capital Region (LTO-NCR) in Quezon City was heavily damaged by flooding.
According to the report of Glen Juego in Super Radyo dzBB on Thursday, the building’s ground floor was heavily damaged wherein most of the operations and transactions of the regional office is conducted.
LTO-NCR assistant director Hanzley Lim told Super Radyo dzBB that they are now accounting all the damaged documents and vehicle plates.
But the official assured that there’s nothing to worry about as they have a copy of the documents in their system.
Lim also said that it will resume limited operations on Friday due to the condition of the office and the lack of internet connection, the report said. The LTO-NCR is located along Gregorio Araneta Avenue, one of the flooded areas in Quezon City at the height of the weather disturbance.
Metro Manila was placed under a state of calamity amid the massive floods brought by Super Typhoon Carina and the enhanced Southwest Monsoon.
