MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday said the continuous engagements between the Philippines and the United States (US) would ensure “agile” responses to the country’s maritime dispute with China in the West Philippine Sea.
This, as the President welcomed US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken in their visits to the Philippines amid the “interesting political situation” in the US.
