MANILA, Philippines — While the approval rating of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for the second quarter of 2024 stabilized, Vice President Sara Duterte’s ratings saw another significant drop, down by 20 percentage points compared to two years ago, the latest nationwide survey conducted by Publicus Asia showed.
The non-commissioned Pahayag survey taken from June 15 to 19 showed Duterte’s performance was negatively impacted by her father’s legacy and her former role as secretary of the Department of Education (DepEd).
