Payne, 31, tragically died earlier this week after falling from a third-floor hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. His death has left One Direction fans around the world in shock.
Investigators in Argentina are looking into Payne’s final hours, believing his death may be linked to substance abuse. Payne’s hotel room was found in disarray with signs of alcohol and possible drugs.
Payne became famous alongside Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan when they formed One Direction on The X Factor in 2010.
