Key Points from Trump’s Speech Before His Inauguration

On the day before he became president, Donald Trump held a huge rally in Washington, D.C., to celebrate his victory. The event felt like one of his campaign rallies, with lots of supporters cheering for him.

Trump’s Big Plans for Day One

Trump had already told people that he planned to sign a lot of actions on his first day as president, and he wasn’t kidding! He promised that he would give the American people an exciting first day, week, and even 100 days of his presidency.

He said he planned to sign more than 200 actions that would cover important topics like border security, immigration, jobs, and how the government works. He also said he would undo some actions made by the president before him, Joe Biden.

Trump’s Rally: A Celebration

At the rally, Trump and his speakers, including his sons and a few of his old helpers, spoke about important topics from his campaign. They talked about keeping America safe and securing the borders. Trump also played videos from his campaign for the crowd to watch. It was a fun event where everyone wore hats and shirts with Trump’s slogan, “Make America Great Again,” or MAGA.

Even though he didn’t say much about other presidents, Trump made it clear that he was ready to make changes and keep his promises. The rally was a fun way to say “thank you” to all his supporters.

A Big Celebration and Important Guests

The rally on Sunday was very different from the official ceremony on Monday. While Trump’s supporters cheered and wore their MAGA gear, the official event at the Capitol was more formal. Some very rich people, like the heads of big companies, were invited to that event. Many of these people gave a lot of money to help Trump’s inauguration.

Trump’s Team and Musk’s Big Role

One of the big surprises was that Elon Musk, the leader of Tesla, was invited to the rally and even got to speak. Trump asked him to help make the government more efficient, which means finding ways to make it work better and cost less.

Musk, who is the richest person in the world, will help Trump pick new people to work in the government. Some of these people will replace career workers who have been there for years. It looks like Musk will play a big role in shaping Trump’s presidency.

A Look Ahead

Even though Trump is very popular with his supporters, he is also working closely with big business leaders. People are wondering if he can balance the needs of everyday Americans with the goals of the rich and powerful business people who are helping him.

As Trump starts his presidency, everyone is excited to see what he will do next!
