After spending almost a week inside the Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition house, Mavy Legaspi shared his heartfelt reflections about his experience as a guest housemate. Taking to Instagram Stories, he opened up about the unforgettable moments he had, the lessons he learned, and why leaving the housemates made him emotional.
Living the ‘Host-Mate’ Life
Mavy described his short stay inside the PBB house as an honor and a privilege. Despite being there only for a few days, he cherished bonding with his fellow housemates and took pride in helping out with chores to lighten their load.
“It was also fun washing all the dishes while they were doing their tasks, cleaning the house—you name it! I just wanted to lessen the burden,” he shared.
Addressing criticism that he wasn’t active enough, Mavy set the record straight: “If you watched the daily live stream, you’d know I wasn’t slacking off. So know your facts before judging.”
Conversations with Kuya & the Housemates
For Mavy, one of the most special parts of his stay was getting to talk with Big Brother (Kuya) in the Confession Room. He loved hearing the housemates’ life stories and forming genuine connections with them.
Now that he’s back in the outside world, Mavy is cheering for his fellow housemates as they continue their PBB journey.
“I can’t wait for you guys to get to know them even more. They all have such beautiful souls!” he said.
An Emotional Goodbye
Mavy admitted that saying goodbye to the housemates was tough because they had such good hearts. Even though it’s been less than a week since he left, he already misses them.
“I can’t wait for their growth! But I will always root for them and can’t wait to hang out with them once this is all over,” he wrote.
A Sweet Message for Ashley Ortega
Of course, Mavy didn’t forget to mention his girlfriend, Ashley Ortega, who is still inside the PBB house. He dedicated a special message to her, saying:
“Hola, mami. It was nice being with you for a short while. See you in a few months.”
PBB: A Big Collaboration
Mavy became the second house guest of PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition after being left inside the house as a punishment.
This season of Pinoy Big Brother is a special collaboration between GMA Network and ABS-CBN, marking the 20th anniversary of the iconic reality show. It airs on GMA Network at 10 p.m. on weekdays and 6:15 p.m. on weekends.
