How Much is 1 U.S. Dollar Today? March 13, 2025

Have you ever wondered how much the Philippine peso is worth compared to other currencies? Every day, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) releases an official list of exchange rates. This helps businesses, travelers, and even online shoppers know how much their money is worth in other countries.

On March 13, 2025, the BSP shared the latest exchange rates, and here’s what they revealed:

📌 1 U.S. Dollar (USD) = 57.34 Philippine Pesos (PHP) 📌 1 Japanese Yen (JPY) = 0.39 PHP 📌 1 British Pound (GBP) = 74.34 PHP 📌 1 Hong Kong Dollar (HKD) = 7.38 PHP 📌 1 Euro (EUR) = 62.58 PHP (computed based on USD conversion) 📌 1 Saudi Riyal (SAR) = 15.29 PHP 📌 1 United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) = 15.61 PHP

Other important updates: ✔️ The BSP Buying Rate is ₱57.10 per U.S. Dollar. ✔️ The BSP Selling Rate is ₱57.60 per U.S. Dollar. ✔️ The BSP Reference Rate is ₱57.35 per U.S. Dollar. ✔️ The PDS Closing Rate on March 12, 2025 was ₱57.36 per U.S. Dollar. ✔️ Gold buying price is $2,938.10 per ounce. ✔️ Silver buying price is $33.25 per ounce.

Why Does This Matter? 🤔

Exchange rates change every day because of supply and demand in the global market. If the peso weakens, imported goods become more expensive, but it benefits overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who send money back home. If the peso strengthens, imported goods become cheaper, but OFW families receive less peso for the same amount of dollars.
