The BSP Buying Rate is ₱57.10 per U.S. Dollar. The BSP Selling Rate is ₱57.60 per U.S. Dollar. The BSP Reference Rate is ₱57.35 per U.S. Dollar. The PDS Closing Rate on March 12, 2025 was ₱57.36 per U.S. Dollar. Gold buying price is $2,938.10 per ounce. Silver buying price is $33.25 per ounce.
Why Does This Matter? 
Exchange rates change every day because of supply and demand in the global market. If the peso weakens, imported goods become more expensive, but it benefits overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who send money back home. If the peso strengthens, imported goods become cheaper, but OFW families receive less peso for the same amount of dollars.
