Vice President Sara Duterte said on Friday that she plans to stay in the House of Representatives until the New Year. This decision comes after her chief-of-staff, Zuleika Lopez, was detained for not answering questions clearly during a House probe. Duterte mentioned that the only danger to her staying in the House is Speaker Martin Romualdez, who she claims might want her gone. She said she doesn’t think Romualdez would harm her inside the House but might do so outside of it. She also shared that she has a good sense of character and believes Romualdez has personal issues.
