Great news for Filipino nurses and caregivers! Japan is opening its doors to 350 healthcare workers from the Philippines, with applications accepted until April 4, 2025. This opportunity comes under the Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement (JPEPA) and is managed by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) in partnership with the Japan International Corporation of Welfare Services (JICWELS).
Who Can Apply?
Registered Nurses (Kangoshi) – 50 slots available
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Must have an active PRC license
At least 3 years of work experience in a hospital, clinic, or health center
Willing to study and work in Japan to get a National Nursing License
Certified Care Workers (Kaigofukushishi) – 300 slots available
Graduate of BS Nursing (with or without PRC license) OR
Graduate of any four-year course but must have a TESDA NC II in Caregiving
Must be willing to study and train in Japan to earn a National Caregiving License
