If you grew up in the ‘90s, you probably remember the Marvin Agustin-Jolina Magdangal love team that made everyone swoon! 
The two reunited on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda”, and their conversation brought back major kilig moments for their longtime fans.
Are They Each Other’s “The One That Got Away”?
One of the most exciting questions they got was: Do they think of each other as “The One That Got Away” (TOTGA)?
Marvin seemed caught off guard and had a hard time answering, but Jolina had a clear response. She said that while Marvin is a very special friend, she doesn’t consider him her TOTGA because he never truly “got away.”
“Can we define ‘the one’ as a very special friend? Because if that’s the case, then no—Marvin never left. He’s always there when I need him,” Jolina shared.
Marvin agreed and connected their relationship to the theme of their upcoming movie, “Ex Ex Lovers.”
“One of the biggest lessons in our film is that one of the best relationships you can have is friendship. No matter what happens, true friendship remains.”
Have They Ever Cried Because of Each Other?
Boy Abunda also asked if they’ve ever cried because of one another—and Jolina immediately said YES.
Marvin revealed that during a powerful scene in their movie, they felt like they weren’t just acting as their characters Joy and Ced, but also as their real selves, Marvin and Jolina.
“That scene was supposed to be happy, but it ended with us in tears—yet our hearts felt so full,” Jolina added.

The most touching part of the interview? When they exchanged sweet and emotional messages of gratitude!
Jolina to Marvin:
“Thank you for seeing a side of me that I wish others could see. It means so much to me.”
Marvin to Jolina:
“Thank you for the way you love. It feels so good to love you, and it feels just as good to be loved by you.”
