President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has a big dream for the 2025 midterm elections—he wants all 12 Senate seats to be won by his team!
Speaking at the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) Leaders’ Convergence Summit at The Manila Hotel on Friday, Marcos made it clear that he wants a “12-0 sweep” for his party’s candidates in the Senate.
What does that mean?
There are 12 open spots in the Senate, and Marcos is hoping that all 12 will be filled by his allies.
“Our goal is simple. We want all 12 seats in the Senate to be won by our candidates,” Marcos said in Filipino.
Marcos Believes His Team is “The Best”
As the leader of the PFP, Marcos praised his party’s candidates, saying they are the smartest, strongest, and most hardworking people who are ready to serve the country.
“I believe we have chosen the best and most capable leaders. Not just for winning the election, but for truly serving the people,” he said confidently.
No Room for Losing!
Marcos told everyone in his party that he expects victory because, in his words, the PFP has the highest quality candidates.
“There should be no losses. Our candidates are the best!” he added.
Growing the Party for a Stronger Future
Aside from winning the election, Marcos shared his plan to grow the PFP by bringing in more people who can help the government.
“And you can count on it—the PFP is the strongest political party in the country today,” he declared.
As the campaign season approaches, Marcos wished his candidates good luck and encouraged them to work hard to win the people’s trust.
