Some people on the internet were worried after they saw a video of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. giving a speech — because it looked like his gums were bleeding. 
The video quickly went viral, and many people started asking: “Is the President okay?”
But don’t worry! On Thursday, Malacañang (that’s the place where the President works) said there is nothing to be scared about. 
Undersecretary Claire Castro, who works with the Palace press team, told GMA News that President Marcos is totally fine and in good health.
“We just had a meeting with him this morning,” Castro said. “He looked healthy and okay.”
The video that got everyone talking was taken on April 9, during the Day of Valor event and the Comprehensive Social Benefits Program in Quezon City. During his speech, some viewers noticed that the President’s gums looked like they were bleeding a little bit.
But the Palace says there is no need to worry — the President is doing well and continues to work.
