Green Bones Gets Rave Reviews Before Its Big Movie Debut

The movie “Green Bones” is already being celebrated as a big success even before its official release! Many film critics, vloggers, and media personalities have shared their thoughts after watching the movie at its special advanced screening and exciting star-filled premiere night. They’re saying amazing things about this film, making it one of the most talked-about entries in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

What Are Critics Saying?

According to a report by Aubrey Carampel on the TV show “24 Oras” on Tuesday, the film is a top contender for “MMFF 2024 Best Picture.” Here’s what some critics had to say:

  • The Manila Feed gave the movie a perfect 5 out of 5 stars! They said it’s a strong candidate for the festival’s top prize and highlighted the outstanding performances of lead actors Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid.
  • Richard Paglicawan from LionhearTV also gave a perfect score of 5 out of 5. He praised the film’s beautiful story, talented cast, direction, and stunning visuals.
  • My Movie World agreed with another 5 out of 5 rating, calling “Green Bones” a heartfelt story perfect for the joyful Christmas season.
  • Even though Fred Said, another respected movie reviewer, gave it slightly less than perfect at 9 out of 10, he still had high praise for Director Zig Dulay’s amazing direction and Neil Daza’s breathtaking cinematography.
  • Film critic Phil Dy described the movie as “good, solid, and well-produced drama.” Meanwhile, the popular influencer account Lakwatsera Lovers went above and beyond, scoring the movie an 11 out of 10! They loved the touching story, the talented cast, and how well Director Zig brought everything together.

What Did the Stars Say?

At the big premiere night, lead stars Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid shared how grateful they are for all the love and support their film has received so far.

  • Dennis said, “We’re so happy that many people felt the emotions we wanted to share. That’s really our goal, to touch the hearts of everyone who watches this film.”
  • Ruru added, “It’s so heartwarming because when you work on a project, you don’t expect to make people cry or feel deeply. You just do it because you love what you’re doing.”

Special Cinema Visits!

To make the release even more exciting, some of the cast members will visit select cinemas in Metro Manila on Wednesday to meet fans and thank them in person.

When Can You Watch It?

The wait is almost over! “Green Bones” will officially hit the big screens in at least 43 cinemas nationwide starting Christmas Day, December 25. Don’t miss out on this touching and beautifully made film that’s perfect for the holiday season!
