Kapuso star Alden Richards showed his full support for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024 entry Green Bones, starring fellow Kapuso actors Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid. Alden organized a special block screening to celebrate the film, which has been making waves since its release.
In an interview with 24 Oras, Alden shared his excitement about the movie:
“I’m excited to watch it because the movie looks so interesting from its trailer. Of course, I’m here to support my fellow Kapuso actors, Mr. Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid.”

Alden wasn’t the only star showing love for the film. Kapuso celebrities Barbie Forteza, Sanya Lopez, and Jay Ortega were also present at the screening.

Green Bones is based on an original story by JC Rubio, GMA Public Affairs’ senior documentary manager. The screenplay was written by National Artist Ricky Lee and MMFF 2023 Best Screenplay winner Anj Atienza. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Zig Dulay, the movie is a collaboration between GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs.
