Yuseco Bridge in Manila closed to traffic starting Feb. 8

Motorists were advised to avoid Yuseco Bridge in Yuseco Street, Manila which will be closed to traffic starting February 8 due to a major repair.

The Department of Public Works and Highways – North Manila District Engineering Office said the rehabilitation work will cover the bridge’s total length of 52 meters including the approach.

“The (closure of the bridge) will also assure that the rehabilitation will be unhampered, and proper rehab process will be done on the bridge’s abutment and slab,” it said.

The repair is expected to be completed within 145 calendar days.

The DPWH said motorists should use Batangas Street as alternate route.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
