Vice President Sara Duterte made a surprise visit to a special hearing in Congress on Wednesday. The investigation focused on the drug war killings that happened during her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte’s time in office.
Sara arrived at the hearing around 4:30 PM, while her father had already been answering tough questions from lawmakers for five hours.
During the session, the former president boldly challenged the International Criminal Court (ICC), daring them to come to the Philippines immediately to investigate him over claims of human rights violations linked to the drug war.
