According to new research from Cloudwards, Paris is still the top Christmas vacation spot for Filipinos. The research team looked at social media platforms, including TikTok videos, and analyzed Google search data using keywords like “Christmas in [location]” and “Things to do for Christmas in [location]” to find out which destinations people are most interested in. The study included data from 69 countries and used both English and local languages to get the most accurate results.
For Filipinos, Paris remains the favorite, just like last year. The French capital is known for its stunning Christmas lights on the Champs Elysées and its festive Marchés de Noël (Christmas markets), making it a perfect spot for holiday fun.
In addition to Paris, London and Vienna also remain top choices for Christmas travel. London was the most popular choice across 24 countries, especially from the Americas, while Vienna was chosen by 21 countries, including the U.S., Canada, and Australia. Interestingly, the most popular destination in the UK and Austria was Prague in the Czech Republic, while Belgium’s top destination was Brussels.
Overall, Paris continues to be the dream holiday spot for many Filipinos looking to celebrate Christmas abroad!
