Nancy McDonie to grace ‘Running Man PH’ starting this Saturday

Nancy McDonie is finally making her appearance in “Running Man Philippines” Season 2!

Boy Abunda made the announcement on Tuesday on “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” saying that the K-pop star will be the guest runner starting Saturday’s episode.

She will be on the show for the next two weekends.

“I had so much fun today. It was such an adventure. There were so many missions and I hope you guys look forward to watch the Philippines ‘Running Man.’ It’s gonna be a blast. I hope you guys enjoy it. See you soon!” Nancy said in a video message.

It was previously announced that the former Momoland member is one of the “superstar Korean guests” that viewers can expect to appear in the show. Previously, OG “Running Man” member HaHa guested on an episode.

This will be Nancy’s first project after signing with Sparkle in April. However, she remains under her talent agency ATOC for her activities in South Korea.

Nancy, whose real name is Nancy Jewel McDonie, debuted with Momoland in 2016. The group disbanded in February 2023.

The Korean-American singer visited the Philippines in November 2023 for a one-night concert with Korean actor Lee Seung Gi to mark the first anniversary of a Korean fried chicken restaurant at the Bonifacio Global City.

“Running Man Philippines” Season 2 stars Glaiza De Castro, Mikael Daez, Buboy Villar, Angel Guardian, Kokoy De Santos, Lexi Gonzales, and Miguel Tanfelix.

The show airs weekends at 7:15 p.m. on GMA Network.
