In a Chika Minute report by Aubrey Carampel on 24 Oras, Mavy posted several Instagram snaps that seemed like a subtle “soft launch” of their rumored relationship. The photos showed Mavy and Ashley smiling happily together.
One photo, in particular, showed the duo with their faces playfully covered by white cloths, while another had Mavy with his arm around Ashley. They were joined by fellow Sparkle artist Roxie Smith and her non-showbiz boyfriend.
Adding to the buzz, a group photo included Ashley wrapping her arm around Mavy, sparking more speculation.
Mavy captioned his post:
“Pit Senyor! Daghang salamat Cebu/Cebuanos! Had a great Sinulog Festival with you guys!”
Ashley replied in the comments with an enthusiastic “Pit Senyor!!”

The rumored couple has also been seen at other events, such as the Figure Skating Championships featuring Skye Chua and the birthday celebration of GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes.

In a previous interview last November, Mavy hinted at his happiness, saying:
