Marcos leads launch of Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair in Camarines Sur

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Saturday led the simultaneous national launching of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair in Nabua, Camarines Sur, where various government agencies’ programs and services were consolidated in one venue to speed up their delivery to Filipinos.

In his speech, Marcos said the different government agencies and institutions were in “full force” to deliver medical, health, financial, livelihood and education assistance.

“Ang programang ito ay isa lamang sa mga unang hakbangin ng pamahalaan upang magkaroon ng bagong pag-asa at bagong simula ang mga Pilipino,” Marcos said.

(This program is just one of the first steps of the government to give new hope and a new beginning to Filipinos.)

The Passport on Wheels, as well as registration for driver’s license, the national ID, NBI and police clearance, and PAG-IBIG were made available at the fair.

As the Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary, Marcos led the handing over of various farm equipment from the department and its line agencies.

The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources meanwhile distributed fish cage packages and motor bancas to fisherfolk.

Additional government assistance includes the distribution of wheelchairs and jerry cans from the Department of Health (DOH), toolkits from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and hygiene kits from the Office of Civil Defense (OCD).

The two-day caravan, which runs from September 23-24, is also being held in Davao de Oro led by Vice President Sara Duterte; Tolosa, Leyte led by House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez; and in Laoag, Ilocos Norte led by 1st District Representative Ferdinand Alexander ‘Sandro’ Marcos III.

The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair in Camarines Sur hosted 75 programs and services from 29 government agencies, which targeted to benefit 120,000 local residents.

The fair also introduced a Kadiwa Caravan that featured locally produced farm goods from the province.

The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair is one of several flagship programs and projects being launched under the Marcos administration’s all-inclusive Bagong Pilipinas governance and leadership campaign, with the goal of attaining comprehensive policy reforms and full economic recovery. –KG, GMA Integrated News
