Lisa from Blackpink just had a huge moment in her career — she acted for the very first time in a big TV show called The White Lotus Season 3, and she said it was an amazing experience!
On her Instagram, Lisa shared some behind-the-scenes photos of herself as Mook, the character she played in the show. In the pictures, she’s dressed as a hotel worker in beautiful Thailand — the country where Lisa is originally from!
Lisa Says “Thank You!”
Lisa wrote a sweet message to Mike White, the creator and director of The White Lotus, saying:
“What a ride. Thank you Mike White for trusting me to play Mook and bring her to life.”
She also shared how special the experience was:
“It was the greatest honor to be part of this show as my first acting gig. I got to work with so many amazing actors!”
Proud of Thailand!
Lisa was super proud to show off her home country to the world:
“I’m proud to share the beauty of Thailand with everyone.”
She said playing Mook helped her learn new things about herself and made her feel more confident. Even though she’s sad the show has ended, she said:
“My Sunday nights may feel a little emptier, but I’m ending this chapter with a full heart.”
What’s The White Lotus?
The White Lotus is a super popular TV series that started in 2021. It’s all about guests staying at a fancy resort and the exciting — and sometimes dramatic — things that happen there.
This season took place in Thailand, and Lisa’s character Mook worked at the hotel. The show is so popular that it’s won 11 Emmy Awards already!
The final episode of Season 3 aired on April 6 on a streaming service called Max.
