Actress Jillian Ward has clarified her side regarding rumors of a long-standing feud with former co-star Sofia Pablo. Responding to Sofia’s recent statements, Jillian explained that her busy schedule and personal priorities leave no room for conflicts.
In a report on “24 Oras” aired Wednesday, Jillian addressed the issue, saying:
“I’m doing so much in my life. I don’t have time to fight with anyone. I really don’t know where this idea of fighting came from. I’m focused on my personal growth and processing the separation of my parents.”
Confusion Over Their Relationship
Jillian admitted that she is unsure of where she stands with Sofia, but emphasized the importance of focusing on oneself and being honest with others.
“I’m confused about what’s happening. I think what we all need right now is to focus on ourselves and practice honesty—with everyone and with ourselves,” she shared.
The actress, best known for her role in “My Ilonggo Girl,” said she is prioritizing more meaningful things in her life, especially her family.
“I’m so happy with my blessings. I’m surrounded by honest, loving, and loyal people like Michael [Sager],” she added, referring to her leading man in her current series.
Sofia Pablo’s Perspective
Earlier this week, Sofia Pablo opened up about their supposed feud in an interview with GMA Integrated News. She revealed that the misunderstanding started during the first season of their show “Prima Donnas” in 2019. However, Sofia did not disclose specific details about what caused the fallout.
“We were close, and then suddenly, it just stopped—like, in a snap. No warnings, no awkward build-up, just nothing,” Sofia explained.
She also mentioned that their lack of communication over the years has prevented them from resolving the issue.
“I’ve always said we’re not enemies, but we’re also not okay. I try to avoid making it an issue, but this is something we never really talked about,” she added.
Choosing Positivity
Jillian said she is choosing to focus on the positive aspects of her life rather than dwell on negativity. She remains grateful for the people who bring joy and support into her life and is not letting drama distract her from her goals.
Both actresses seem to agree that the issue remains unresolved due to the absence of communication, but Jillian has made it clear that she is prioritizing personal growth and happiness over addressing the supposed feud.
