Imee urges in-depth study of first Marcos administration

Senator Imee Marcos, daughter of former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., has urged an in-depth study of her father’s administration at a gathering on Thursday which coincided on with the 51st anniversary of the declaration of Martial Law.

She said the Filipino people had the right to hear their stories and share their knowledge on this chapter in Philippine history.

Imee the call for an in-depth study was not aimed at revisionism or altering historical accounts.

She also expressed the importance of presenting a complete understanding of Martial Law’s positive and negative aspects, particularly to the younger generation. –Sundy Locus/NB, GMA Integrated News
