Visitors at a popular weekend market in Makati City can now make cashless transactions using their Maya accounts.

Merchants of the Legazpi Sunday Market, a well-loved al fresco bazaar in the city, may provide their unique QR codes as Maya users.

This means that customers can simply scan the QR codes on their Maya apps instead of bringing out cash for their purchases.

In 2019, however, it moved to a smaller parking lot between the Corinthian Plaza and the Washington Sycip Park due to the construction of a multi-level car park at its previous location.

It is known for its offerings of local and international food, beverages and other products. It operates from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Sunday.
