Cup of Joe bassist Sevi exits band

Cup of Joe announced their bassist Raphael “Sevi” Severino will be leaving the band after five years.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, the OPM band wrote a letter to their supporters to inform them that Cup of Joe and Sevi have already “parted ways.”

While Cup of Joe did not mention why Sevi left. the band made sure to thank him for his contributions over the last five years.

“We have truly enjoyed our time together and we appreciate his contributions over the last five years. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors. We appreciate your understanding and continued support,” they said.

A number of their suporters, whom they call Joewahs, replied wishing Sevi well.

“We luv u so much, kuya sev,” one said, while another called him “our future CPA” and wished him luck on his future endeavors.

“Kuya Sev will always have a space in all joewahs heart,” still, another said.

There hasn’t been word yet on who will replace Sevi.

Sevi was one of the founding members of Cup of Joe alongside Gian Bernardino, Raphaell Ridao, Xen Gareza, Gab Fernandez, and CJ Fernandez.
