Banyan Tree set to open Manila Bay property in 2028

Banyan Tree is set to open in Manila come 2028.

The luxury hospitality brand, known for its sustainability practices, will open a mixed-use, multiple-tower development development property set to become a called in Manila.

Dubbed Banyan Tree Manila Bay, the new property was launched on Tuesday at Cove Manila in Okada.

Phase 1 of the property is composed of a hotel, residences, and a retail area, promising its guests and clients to “enjoy true luxury in their own private sanctuary in the bustling city.” It is set to open in the first quarter of 2028.

The Banyan Tree Manila Bay hotel will offer a mix of rooms and suites catering to discerning travelers seeking a rejuvenating retreat with facilities including a swimming pool, fitness center, signature restaurant and bar, and other facilities available in a Banyan Tree hotel and resort, alongside the Podium Area featuring the meeting facilities and Banyan Tree Spa and Gallery.

“It is definitely a very exciting time for the luxury real estate market right now in the Philippines. Investors are always looking for the next big thing. Hence, there’s high expectation for Banyan Tree Manila Bay and this is something that we aim to satisfy,” said Martin Taylor, Chief Operating Officer of Banyan Tree Manila Bay at their grand launch on Tuesday.

He added, “it will reflect all the features that every Banyan Tree property is known for like sustainability practices, while ensuring that we also pay homage to Philippine culture.”

Banyan Tree Manila Bay will partner with Nest Seekers International, a full-service luxury residential and commercial brokerage firm tapped by some of the most luxurious properties in the world.

“Nest Seekers International is the perfect partner for us to best market our residential towers to a wider international network. We look forward to having a fruitful partnership with them,” Taylor said.

Meanwhile, Andy Regalado, Nest Seekers International’s Chief Marketing Officer and Regional Director – Asia, expressed their excitement to work with Banyan Tree Manila Bay to launch this development in the Philippines.

“As Manila has become the hottest market globally for prime residential properties, it’s high time that a project like this rises in the city. Not only will it satisfy our clients’ demand for true luxury, such a project will also pave the way for more branded luxury properties to invest in the Philippines, making for a more vibrant luxury real estate market,” said Regalado.

Ownership at Banyan Tree Manila Bay comes with exclusive benefits and privileges, including access to a global network of Banyan Tree resorts and spas in over 80 resorts and hotels in 22 countries.

The development incorporates sustainable design principles and green technologies to minimize environmental impact.

Globally recognized for its luxurious resorts and residences and known for their commitment to environmental sustainability and authentic cultural experiences, Banyan Tree is a “pioneer in naturally luxurious and ecologically sensitive hospitality.”

Currently, it has properties in China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, as well as in Mexico, Mozambique, Maldives, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
