She finally told Mika how she really feels—and why she felt bad.
In the latest episode of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, housemate AZ Martinez decided to open up to Mika Salamanca after feeling guilty for judging her too soon.
AZ Had Something on Her Mind
AZ went to talk to Kuya (Big Brother) in the confession room. She said she wanted to tell Mika what she really felt and clear things up.
“I just want to be honest with her and admit that what I said wasn’t right,” AZ told Kuya.
Later, AZ and Mika had a serious and honest talk in the garden, where AZ finally shared what’s been bothering her.
AZ Felt Like Mika Didn’t Like Her
AZ said she had been feeling guilty and bothered because she thought she judged Mika right away.
She shared a story about a time in the kitchen. AZ was helping chop ingredients, but Mika suddenly took the knife from her and continued the job. AZ felt like Mika took over the task without asking—and that hurt her feelings.
“It felt like you didn’t think I was doing it right… like you took my task away,” AZ explained.
She also felt like Mika wasn’t really opening up to her.
“I always open up, but I don’t know much about you,” AZ said honestly.
Mika Said Sorry
Mika was surprised but listened carefully. She said she didn’t mean to hurt AZ. Mika explained that she’s usually a quiet listener, not someone who easily shares her feelings.
“I’m sorry if I made you feel that way. I promise I’ll try to open up more,” Mika said.
The Hurtful Comment
AZ also said sorry for something she said in the past. When she was really upset, she told someone:
“No wonder she’s controversial.”
AZ said that was wrong of her, and she only said it because her emotions were high and she was very upset at the time.
“I feel really guilty and I’m sorry. I hope we can start over and be okay,” she told Mika.
They Hugged It Out
After the talk, the two hugged each other. AZ said she wanted them to be friends, not just inside the house but also outside when the show ends.
“Love you. It’s okay,” Mika replied with a smile.
A Lesson for Everyone
After the heart-to-heart, Mika talked to the other housemates. She said if anyone has a problem with someone, it’s better to talk to them right away than keep it inside or tell someone else first.
“Sometimes, we just overthink things. It’s better to ask the person directly,” she said.
She also promised to try her best to open up more little by little, saying:
“Just give me a little time. I’ll do it. Tomorrow is a reset.”
