Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and his four other co-accused arrived at a Pasig Court for their arraignment Friday morning.
Quiboloy, escorted by several policemen, arrived in Pasig past 7:40 a.m., according to a report from Vonne Aquino on Unang Balita.
They left PNP Custodial Center at Camp Crame in Quezon City around 7:18 a.m., according to a post on X (formerly Twitter) by GMA Integrated News’ James Agustin.
Quiboloy and others are set to physically attend an arraignment in Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 159 at 8:30 a.m.
Qualified trafficking in persons cases were filed against Quiboloy and others in the Pasig court, a non-bailable offense.
Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Fajardo on Thursday said authorities have not monitored any security threat for the arraignment of Quiboloy in Pasig.
Aside from the arraignment in the Pasig court, Quiboloy and others are scheduled to virtually attend another arraignment in Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 106 on Friday afternoon.
Child abuse cases were filed against them in the Quezon City court.
