Sanya Lopez has warned the public about a scammer pretending to be her on a messaging application.
In Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” Monday, Sanya said the culprit is using her name and photo to ask for donations for an outreach program.
Sanya told everyone to be vigilant and make sure to confirm identities before believing anything.
Sanya recently went on to Bali, Indonesia for a quick break from taping “Pulang Araw,” where she currently stars as aspiring bodabil star Teresita Borromeo.
The series also stars Barbie Forteza, David Licauco, Alden Richards, and Dennis Trillo.
“Pulang Araw” airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after “24 Oras.” It is also streaming on Netflix.
