Bianca Umali, Faith Da Silva, Angel Guardian, and Kelvin Miranda gave a glimpse into their “Sang’gre” characters through a book reading session.
According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” Thursday, the lead stars graced this year’s Philippine Book Festival, where they shared their characters’ backgrounds.
Bianca, who will give life to Sang’gre Terra, narrated that her character grew up in the human world but later discovered that she is a Sang’gre.
Kelvin, who will play Sang’gre Adamus, talked about the Kingdom of Adamya.
“Ang Adamya ay isa sa apa na teritoryo at kaharian na matatagpuan sa Encantadia,” he said.
Meanwhile, Faith, who will play Sang’gre Flamarra, shared her story as someone with Hathor blood.
And Angel, who will give life to Sang’gre Deia, read a moving letter for Encantadia.
“Aaminin kong malaki ang aming pagkakasala sa inyo sa aming ginawang pagwasak at pagbasag sa katiwasayan at katahimikan ng inyong mundo,” she said.
The new generation of Sang’gres said that they are glad to be slowly introducing their characters.
Meanwhile, Kelvin admitted that he had a hard time because of his dyslexia.
“Sang’gre” started filming its pilot episode in November last year. In preparation for the series, the lead cast took Wushu training.
Earlier, they said that their costumes are almost ready.
Rhian Ramos is also joining the series as Mitena, the twin of Solenn Heussaff‘s character Cassiopea. Glaiza De Castro, Sanya Lopez, and Rocco Nacino are also returning as Sang’gre Pirena, Sang’gre Danaya, and Mashna Aquil, respectively.
