MANILA, Philippines — Apart from pop icon Taylor Swift’s “Eras” concert tour, Singapore has a lot to offer for you, your loved ones, family, and/or friends.

Klook, a leading travel and experiences platform, encourages everyone to embrace the new love language of shared experiences and take a quick detour to Singapore.

Some suggestions:

The magic starts as soon as you set foot in Singapore.

In Singapore, the adventure begins as soon as you arrive. Swift herself was amazed to find a forest in Changi Airport’s Terminal 3 upon her arrival 13 years ago, and now that it’s had years of changes and improvements, tourists can look forward to even more attractions. Families looking to relax and absorb the scenic views of the airport can visit Canopy Park, which is home to the Discovery Slides, Foggy Bowls, Petal Garden, and Topiary Walk. To get a scenic look of the airport from above, stroll along the Mastercard Canopy Bridge, which highlights the iconic HSBC Rain Vortex that is seen all over social media.

Other attractions in the airport include the English-garden-inspired, Hedge Maze, for a botanical experience, or the Mirror Maze for a venue of optical illusions that challenge your perception as you make your way out of the maze.

Finally, for a thrilling experience, visitors can walk and play along the Bouncing Net and Walking Net, which are suspended 25 meters above ground, bringing the usual walk and play up a whole new level (literally).

Clockwise: S.E.A. Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa, Museum of Ice Cream Singapore, and Skyline Luge

Visit these must-see attractions

Explore the S.E.A. Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa, one of the largest aquariums in the world which is home to over 100,000 marine life representing 1,000 species in more than 45 different habitats. However, if a school of fish does not tickle your fancy, how about an array of ice cream flavors? The Museum of Ice Cream Singapore is perfect for beating the Singapore heat! This museum serves unlimited ice cream treats as you learn about the beloved snack’s history across 14 multi-sensory installations.

But if adventure is what you are looking for, you should go for the Skyline Luge. Part-go-kart, part-toboggan, Skyline Luge will have you racing on its three-wheeled luge carts on four purpose-built tracks with hairpin corners, exhilarating tunnels, and downhill slopes. To top it all off, after arriving at the bottom of the track, head back up using the Sentosa Skyride for a bird’s eye view of Sentosa and to race all over again!

Check out the neighborhoods of Singapore

When in Singapore, itineraries must include visiting the vibrant neighborhoods that showcase the diverse cultures present in the Lion City. Start with Chinatown. Immerse yourself in the neighborhood’s history by going on the Singapore Chinatown Heritage Walking Tour. With this tour, you will get the perfect blend of past and present while stumbling upon unique trinket shops, award-winning restaurants and iconic locations. Afterwards, head down to Little India, where the streets are filled with bustling Indian markets, stalls serving Indian cuisine, and historical temples. Lastly, situated in the heart of Kampong Glam, taking a trip to Haji Lane is a “must,’” as it is known for its colorful architecture, street art, eclectic bars and cafés, and trendy vintage shops.

Ya Kun Kaya Toast, Ina Satay at Lau Pa Sat, and a sumptuous spread from The White Restaurant

Indulge in good food

Traveling isn’t complete without trying out local specialties. To start the day, have an authentic Singaporean breakfast at Ya Kun Kaya Toast and indulge in the bread’s buttery goodness, paired with soft eggs and coffee or tea. For a light lunch, try out the wide variety of satay from Ina Satay at Lau Pa Sat. Their dishes are paired with a secret traditional peanut satay sauce that has been perfected for many generations. For a hearty meal for dinner, The White Restaurant is a good choice. This restaurant is consistently hailed as the No. 1 food option since 1999. The Original Sembawang White Beehoon is their specialty alongside renowned dishes like Hainanese Chicken Rice and Chilli Crab.

Gardens by the Bay, The ArtScience Museum and Universal Studios Singapore are popular for a reason. These three attractions guarantee all ages to have a memorable experience. With its cooled conservatories, floral structures and waterfront gardens, Gardens by the Bay will leave you in awe of its picturesque landscapes. On the other hand, The ArtScience Museum offers an immersion with multi-sensory exhibits and 21 different gallery spaces that will take you on a journey of understanding the harmonious co-existence of art and science. But if you’re looking for some thrill, Universal Studios Singapore is the way to go. The theme park is home to six different themed zones filled with exciting rides based on blockbuster films that will surely get the heart pumping.

Just like Taylor’s expansive discography, Singapore offers a bucket list full of accommodations, activities, attractions, and experiences for every kind of traveler.
