DOH logs 217 new COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health logged 217 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday, pushing the nationwide caseload to 4,125,083.

Based on the latest bulletin, the active cases slightly decreased to 3,186, while the total recoveries climbed to 4,055,131.

The death toll stayed at 66,766. This is the third day of having no new deaths.

In the past 14 days, the NCR remained the region with the most cases with 667, followed by Calabarzon with 360, Western Visayas with 202, Central Luzon with 195, and Central Visayas with 111.

DOH said a total of 2,512 individuals were tested on November 30, with 293 testing labs submitting data. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
