SEARCH operations continue for four Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) personnel who have been missing since July 26 at the height of Super Typhoon Egay’s devastation in Cagayan.
The four PCG personnel were last seen clinging to their aluminum boat that capsized off Abulug before they were swept away by the current.
The PCG later recovered the boat, AB 065, but the four rescuers were missing.
The missing PCG personnel were part of a team dispatched to assist the motor tugboat Iroquois and its seven crew members during the onslaught of Egay.
The Iroquois has been found, with all its crew members in good condition.
