A security guard at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) returned the wallet of a Japanese passenger which contained 1.5 million yen or around P600,000.
The airport police department said the security guard was conducting a routine duty at the passenger arrival area of NAIA Terminal 2 when he saw the wallet, according to Luisito Santos’ Super Radyo dzBB report on Friday.
He immediately turned over the wallet to the airport police and issued an advisory through the public address system in the airport.
The Japanese national heard the advisory and claimed his wallet.
The security guard said some passengers accidentally drop their wallets and other personal belongings at the airport, but he always returned them to their owners.–Richa Noriega/LDF, GMA Integrated News
